What do I do if I want to delete my app or my account?

There's a difference between deleting the app and deleting your account. We'll talk you through both.

App Deletion

Uninstall the app from your phone.

Please note, however, that Sonic is designed to be linked to the app, so if you remove the app, you’ll no longer be able to receive water usage alerts or water consumption data. You will, however, receive robocalls if you get a long usage or high-volume alert.

Account Deletion

  1. Open the app

  2. Open the burger menu in the top left corner

  3. Tap on My account

  4. Tap on Remove account

  5. Proceed with the instructions provided in the app

Please allow us up to 30 days to fully delete your account and in the meantime, if there is anything else we can help you with, please do not hesitate to let us know.

You will see a flashing purple light to show Sonic cannot connect to our cloud - as it cannot do it if you do not have an account with us.
