Is Sonic safe for use with drinking water?

Yes. All components of Sonic that come into contact with potable (drinking) water meet the required safety standards:
  • WRAS BS 6920 accreditation (or equivalent): Every water-contact part of Sonic is tested and accredited under BS 6920, the UK standard for non-metallic materials in contact with drinking water.
  • Third-party fittings: Where external materials such as compression couplers are used, they must also comply with the same standards.
  • PZH certification: Sonic additionally holds certification from the Polish National Institute of Public Health (PZH), confirming compliance with EU drinking water safety requirements.
Together, these certifications ensure Sonic is safe for integration into fresh water systems and can be confidently used in drinking water installations.
