How does Operating mode work with multiple Sonics?

Operating mode controls how Sonics behave within a property.

There are two modes:

Independent
Each Sonic works separately. Actions on one Sonic do not affect the others.

Hot & cold
This mode is designed for one hot and one cold Sonic. The app manages them together and warns you if an action may create hot-only flow.

For example, if both hot and cold water are on and you try to turn off cold water only, the app will ask you to confirm. You can also choose to turn off both instead. In these cases, hot water is turned off first to help reduce the chance of possible scalding.

To change Operating mode, open the menu in the top left, tap Property settings, then tap Operating mode.
