Sonic Pro can run either entirely on batteries or it can also run on mains power (but we strongly recommend using a battery backup). Whereas Sonic Wi-Fi has to run on mains power, with battery backup.

Sonic cannot operate on alkaline batteries, so it’s important you only purchase lithium.
