There are a few possible scenarios:
Case 1
Failing the pressure tests doesn’t necessarily mean you have a leak. It depends on the appliances you have, and how they draw on water.
Your pressure tests can be affected if you have:
An unvented water heater
A water softener
A water tank/accumulator
Fire sprinklers
The list above uses a much higher level of water consumption, which can, in some cases, result in failing or spiking pressure tests.
Isolate these appliances, and switch them off, and then run another pressure test. If you pass that pressure test, you’ve found the problem.
Case 2
Leaks cannot always be seen. Sometimes, they’re a small drip in a pipe behind the walls/under the floor etc. If your pressure tests are successfully carried out every day and yet they keep failing, the chances are you do have a leak, even if you cannot see it.
In this scenario, the best thing to do is call a plumber and ask for them to investigate.
